▌ 77 OPERATORS · EVERY WEAPON · ONE PRESET EACH
The recoilis a pattern.Your mousealready knows it.
R6 Recoil pulls your aim back down while you fire. You decide how hard, and you decide it separately for every operator, every weapon and every sight. Corrections land in the gaps between your shots, so nothing is wrestling you for the mouse. The gun stops climbing.

Recoil in Rainbow Six Siege is
deterministic.
Per operator
Ash kicks harder than Sledge. Every operator gets their own preset, and it goes live the moment you pick them.
Per weapon
Primary and secondary are tuned separately. An R4-C and a 5.7 USG have nothing in common except the hand holding them, so one number was never going to cover both.
Per sight
Magnification multiplies the pattern, so each weapon slot carries its own X and Y. Swap to a 2.5x and there is one number to change.
Every operator.
Not a template.
One preset,
every gun they carry.
Two numbers.
That is the whole idea.
Semi-auto,
held down.
It knows who
you picked.
Your keys.
Your colour.
It keeps the tally.
You never have to.
The short
version.

Straight
answers.
No. Nothing touches game memory. The only thing that looks at your screen is the optional operator auto-detect, and it reads the operator name out of your own interface. Past that, the tool moves your mouse and has no idea what is in front of you.
